Hey, Iām Cris!
I'm an industrial designer with a background spanning automotive and consumer product design, with a focus on visualization, form, and concept development. I fell in love with design as a method of thought exploration, a way to evolve ideas through sketching, modeling, and building visuals that ultimately bring a meaningful object to life.
My approach has been shaped by living between two worlds. I grew up in Brazil, spent fourteen years studying and working odd jobs in the US, and have since returned. That back-and-forth has made me a very careful observer. I think about how design is shaped by its environment, its users, and the realities it needs to live within.
I see design as a balance between creativity and technical understanding. I like working within constraints, helping teams think through possibilities while making informed decisions, and refining ideas until they feel cohesive and purposeful. The environments where I do my best work are the ones where design is treated as a thoughtful, iterative process, grounded in reality, but still driven by curiosity.
When I'm not designing, I'm usually exploring new places with my camera, staying active playing beach tennis, or experiencing other worlds through film and video games.
